A lonely heart!

I smile so sweetly, I laugh so easily, But look carefully, look into my eyes. Can you see it? They say your eyes are the windows to your soul, well my soul bares it all. The emptiness, the loneliness. Can you feel it? I have a heart that is lonely, you walk past, not a second glance. My heart breaks, my heart aches. Wherever I go, whatever I do, the pain is there. When I feel it coming on, the emptiness, the loneliness, who do I call? Who will listen? Prayers unanswered, words unspoken, the pain is trapped, the ache is captured, who will free me? There you go, walk on by, as I sit and watch you go, as quiet as a mouse, you say! "But why?" You made me this way, you talk, and I listen, I don't utter a word because... I have a lonely heart...
